Connecting 3 Single phase inverters across 3 phases

Created by Lee Dobson, Modified on Mon, 14 Oct at 1:13 PM by John Jackson

When connecting 3 x single phase hybrid inverters across 3 phases the inverters must have the same MCU and LCD firmware installed for correct operation. NOTE: LCD/Comms must NOT be any higher than E.4.3.6 at this time until further notice as higher versions show a phantom negative UPS Load which matches the actual Load and cancels the House Load out.

You must enter and set advance settings for each inverter as the Master on its respective phase per screen images below.

First ensure the inverters are all in normal mode running only from batteries with AC and PV isolated.

Note - The batteries must be within a common battery bank and connected to all inverters for parallel to work.

Within advance settings the inverters should be set up according to the phase they are connected too. If you have more than 3 inverters (eg. 6) then there is 1 master per phase and all other inverters are then set as slaves. The master master should be phase A and this is the inverter that batteries BMS cable will connect too.

Incorrect readings but system is in normal, this could be down to the CT clamps being connected to the wrong phases as highlighted below
