Paralleling single phase inverters basic guide

Created by Paul Pablo Tregent, Modified on Thu, 13 Feb at 12:27 PM by Paul Pablo Tregent

When paralleling 2 or more inverters it is important to note that that all inverters must be connected to the same battery stack , and only 1 CT coil is used on the Master inverter .

Please use the provided yellow data cable connected to the parallel port A or 1 to both inverters

Also if paralleling more than 3 inverters the dip switches have to be ON , less than 3 and all have to be on OFF .

1-Create master plant as normal .
2-connect the slave data logger to WIFI as normal.
3-go into master plant and press equipment at the bottom of the page on the App ,
at the top of the page press Gateway and at the top of this page you will see a + sign , press this and you will be able to scan the slave data logger and it will now be added to the master plant .
4-Go into settings - advanced settings and make sure the master has parallel ticked , master ticked and Modbus 1 .
5-Go into the slave settings -Advanced settings and make sure parallel is ticked , slave is ticked and Modbus 2 .

6- You will probably get either a F13, F29 or F41 fault this is common but is easily resolved by doing a system restart
by isolating down the AC on both units , isolating PV on both units and pressing the silver power button to turn of the inverters , you can then isolate the batteries ( important to note that batteries need to be  connected to both inverters or you will not be able to parallel ) wait 20/30 seconds and then start the batteries and make sure they have power lights .
7-Press the silver power button on both inverters and wait for both LCD screens to on come on if they do wait 4-8 minutes for both normal lights to come on , if they do not you have an issue with battery connection .
8-when the normal lights come on introduce the PV and then the AC wait 3-4 minutes and you should see readings start to  come through on the power flow .
