How to Stop Batteries discharging to EV Charge Overnight

if you are experiencing your batteries discharging at night when an EV car is on charge, and you dont want the battery to discharge to the EV, there are couple of ways to get around this.

1.  you will need to set the batteries to 100% SOC in the time of use setting but dont select grid charge time. this way if the battery is less than 100% then the battery will not discharge at all preventing the battery discharging to the EV. the time period you would select would be the time at which the car is set to charge

example - the EV is set to charge between 2am and 4:30am therefore you would change the time of use in time 1 to 2am and then time 2 (which will be the finish time of time period 1) to 4:30am, notice there is not grid charge time period ticked so the battery doesnt charge from the grid.

2. the other option would be to select your batteries to charge during this time period and select an SOC% you would like the batteries to charge up to. example settings below with time 1. ticked and 80% SOC selected.
