How to merge 2 Sunsynk Connect accounts together

Following the Sunsynk data migration from Region 1 to Region 2, certain users found themselves with two accounts bearing distinct usernames within Region 2.


To address this issue, a migration tool has been incorporated into the Sunsynk Connect portal. This tool facilitates the merging of the two accounts, resulting in a single login credential for enhanced user convenience.


To execute the account merging process, please adhere to the following steps meticulously:



Step 1 - Login to www.sunsynkconnect.com.


Step 2 - Login to the target account (The target account is the account you would like to transfer all the plants too).


Step 3 - Select your profile and then Personal Settings.


 

Step 4 - Select Migrate Account.


Step 5 - Enter the source account and click Get Code (The source account is the account you want to transfer the plants from).




Step 6 - Check your email inbox of the source account for the Verification Code sent from Sunsynk Connect.



 

Step 7 - Enter the verification and click Confirm.



Step 8 - Click Confim if you are sure you would like to merge the accounts together.


Step 9 - Once the transfer has completed, you will see the plants appear in your plant list.


Please note, once the transfer has been completed, your source account will be deactivated.


**THIS FEATURE ONLY ALLOWS YOU TO MERGE ACCOUNTS THAT ARE BOTH ON REGION 2. YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO MANUALLY MIGRATE PLANTS FROM REGION 1 TO REGION 2.**
